FAQ

Why another load system?

Because we believe our system is a more convenient system and will work well for people who have a specific budget for load expenses.

What is the difference between a load deposit and the prepaid load?

The load deposit is your paid load value recorded in the Budget Load system. It is not yet useable as load for your prepaid mobile. The prepaid load is the same load you can buy at various retailer outlets.

How much can I load to my cellphone?

You may load a minimum of Php15 for Globe and Php10 for Touch Mobile. Maximum for both networks is Php150.

Will my load deposit expire?

No, your load deposit to Budget Load will not expire. However, the amount loaded into the cellphone, it will follow the expiration schedule for that amount. The remaining load deposit will not expire.

Why is BudgetLoad better than other systems?

We believe BudgetLoad is better because it allows the user to load his cellphone on demand and therefore increase convenience and even promote safety (going out at night looking for load retailers may not be advisable in certain areas). Because you can also load other cellphones using your load balance, you can control load expenses of your family or your field staff.

Why are SMART cellphones not included?

Our system uses the IAMAX facilty and IAMAX only accepts Globe and Touch Mobile. When we find an equivalent system for SMART, we will use it. For now, only Globe and Touch Mobile numbers can use our load system.

Can you receive online payments in pesos?

Currently no. We use Paypal for the online payment system and Paypal only allows certain currencies excluding pesos.

How can I monitor my load transactions?

To monitor your load transactions, go to https://www.iamax.com/retailer/scr/subs_login/ . You will need to input your mobile number and PIN. Retailer Code is BUDGET.

How do you calculate the exchange rates from USD to pesos?

We are dependent on the bank rates at the time we convert our USD funds to pesos. We strive to give a fair exchange rate for our customers. We currently use http://www.oanda.com/convert/classic for the conversion rates. Whatever rate you see, you need to deduct around 4% to 5% to cover bank fees and bank conversion rates which are lower.  Please note we don’t have any control at all to how much the bank conversion rate will be but by experience, it is around 4% to 5% from the rates we get from the Oanda website.  Exchange rates of the peso vs. USD are quite dynamic, so actual conversion rates may vary slightly.  Please note that overall, you are getting cheaper rates via Budget Load if you compare it to other Internet based load resellers.

When can I start using Budget Load after I make a payment?

For first time users, we will do a background investigation on the number and information you send to verify authenticity of the information. This may take a maximum of two business days. After you receive our text asking you to send your registration details, please complete the registration process. After successful registration, you may now start using your Budget Load account.

For recurring payments done using Paypal and BPI scheduled payments, your Budget Load balance will be updated the next business day.

Cash, G-Cash, and Bank Deposits done through our office, load deposits will be available immediately.

Is it possible for you to update my balance immediately after payment using Paypal or BPI fund transfer?

Please note Budget Load is intended to make your normal loading transaction more convenient. So making regular payments (during pay days for example), will ensure you won’t run out of load. In emergency situations when you need to use your paid deposit immediately, please call our office at +63 38 501-7931 and look for Helen. You may also chat via budgetload@yahoo.com. We can accomodate emergency requests during office hours.

Can I use Budget Load deposit now and pay later?

Unfortunately “utang” is not allowed. Budget Load transactions are strictly on a cash basis. If we can’t verify the payment yet, we will not update your account.
